A message to Carrot customers from Tammy Sun, Founder and CEO

The landscape of access to reproductive healthcare in the United States is undergoing a once-in-a-generation change. With the Supreme Court delivering its final opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, it will now become more difficult and possibly dangerous in certain states to access care for abortions and non-viable pregnancies. As a result, people, employers, and health plans face new and unprecedented challenges. Carrot is unwavering in our commitment to our members, customers, and community of HR leaders; they continue to have our fullest support as they navigate these turbulent and uncharted waters.

Moving forward, Carrot will provide the option for our customers to add coverage for travel expenses related to fertility care for both non-viable pregnancies and abortion in the U.S. Carrot will use our flexible payments platform to process and validate these claims. Members will also have unlimited access to emotional support through 1:1 chats with experts in this area of fertility healthcare.  Access to care will become more challenging at both local and national levels – and some employers are looking to Carrot for a solution. We are privileged to respond and be of service to our customers and members in this way.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your customer success manager. They are prepared to support you. Thank you.
