As Carrot expands its reporting capabilities to our customers around the world, we're building a new kind of transparency: country-specific reports that show our members' fertility outcomes where they live and receive care compared to national averages.
These reports track meaningful metrics like pregnancy and delivery rates, single embryo transfer rates, and multiple pregnancy rates, giving employers a clear, evidence-based view of the value their fertility benefit delivers, tailored to their global workforce rather than reporting on regional or global metrics.
A framework built around global variations in care
Getting there takes more than just collecting numbers. Every country has its own regulations, standards of care, funding models, and privacy laws, so Carrot pairs local clinical expertise with vetted provider networks and culturally-attuned member support in each market.
This local-first approach helps employees understand their options and rights, connect with high-quality clinics, and navigate everything from public entitlements to private or cross-border care with more confidence. Reports are only released once members have had realistic time to engage with care and reach an outcome, and only in countries where the underlying data can be legally and reliably obtained.
Healthcare financing works differently around the world. In countries with universal public coverage, the financial benefit of a healthier pregnancy often flows to the public health system instead of directly to an employer, and privacy laws like GDPR limit how member-level medical data can be collected and used. Rather than force an imprecise savings estimate, Carrot is focusing first on value through rigorous outcomes reporting within these differing frameworks and on the navigational support that helps members access the right care faster.
